Refrigerators rely mainly on compressors, but how do they start? First, the single-phase motor used in the refrigerator compressor can be divided into impedance phase starting (RSIR), capacitor starting type (CSIR) and capacitive starting capacitor operation (CSR) because of the different starting mode.

(1) working principle of impedance phase starting type




The stator winding of the compressor motor is the inductance coil. Because of the different diameters and turns of the running winding and the starting winding, the impedance is different. When the two winding is connected to an AC circuit, the current hysteresis voltage of 90 degrees in the running winding will produce two different inductance values, although the two windings are 50Hz alternating current of the same phase, and the current and voltage values of different phase differences will be generated on the two windings. When the motor speed reaches the rated speed of 70%~80%, the starting winding disconnects the starting winding circuit under the control of the starting relay, and the motor is operated only by the running winding.




(2) the working principle of the capacitive starting type




The capacitance starting circuit of the compressor motor is similar to that of the impedance phase starting circuit. The capacitor which is connected with a single 220V and 45~100 F in the starting winding makes the phase difference of the phase phase of the circuit increase, the starting torque is also increased, the starting current is reduced, and the starting characteristic of the circuit is greatly improved.

The starting circuit of a capacitor starting and capacitive compressor motor is different from the capacitor starting circuit: a small capacity capacitor is connected in parallel with the starting relay and the starting capacitor. When the starting process is finished, the starting capacitor is cut off from the circuit and the starting winding is still in parallel with the running winding. Therefore, the starting capacitor is still in parallel with the running winding. The starting winding can bear part of the motor load, so that the efficiency of the motor can be improved.
